Joe Bauguess holds the trademark to the Mini Simmons. He named the first Mini Simmons in 2006,  and trademarked it in 2011.  Joe created the Mini Simmons after he got the idea from an original Bob Simmons he restored back in Sept.-Oct. 2001. He created the Mini Simmons with the thought in mind of trying to create a new fun board.

As you can see, everyone is copying his shape, but there is only one Original Mini Simmons Planing Hull by Joe Bauguess.
